Bio
Marium Raja (she/her) is a stage & screen actor based in Toronto, ON. Upon completion of a BA Hons. in Drama and English at the University of Toronto Centre for Drama, Theatre, and Performance Studies, Marium has continued her training with Armstrong Acting Studios under the coaching of Mikaela Lily Davies. She is an ACTRA Apprentice with Toronto's local chapter.
Recent Projects
In summer 2023, Marium starred as Natalia Coutinho in the short proof-of-concept film, Bad Accountant (HelloHabibi / Ontario Creates). This film serves as a trailer for the upcoming series.
Bad Accountant is a new crime comedy series that follows Zubaira Baqri, a bumbling accountant with ADHD who stumbles into a job working at Shyams Samosas. Just your typical Desi family-run restaurant and totally NOT the front for the largest Indian Mafia family. Cue the guns, blood and samosas!
